Free blog

As you may or may not have been able to tell I am greatly inspired by the ocean. I love everything about it. Therefore I thought it would be perfect to dedicate this blog to sea shells.
Prevent tablecloths from billowing. Gather sun-bleached oyster or clam shells, sides still attached.
Prevent tablecloths from billowing. Gather shells, sides still attached. Slip string, knotted at both ends, between a shell, and lay across the table. For a centerpiece, gather big shells and scallops. This look is so casual and beachy yet still very beautiful.
Show off the seaside beauties in a large glass, or scatter them around a candle or across a table
Gracefully curvaceous and sculptural, these shells show a note of sophistication to any room. Show off the shell beauties in a large glass, or scatter them around a candle or across a table for a natural looking display. This look is more classy and can really add details.
Embellish a simple wood frame with local shells such as limpets, available on both coasts
Remember summer the most be embelishing frames with shells. Arrange your design, then secure the shells with craft glue.

As you can see shells can be used in such a simple manner yet it really adds a classic casual look.

  1. I'm a beach junkie too... When I was on vacation in Hawaii I did a little craft project on the beach I think you'll get a kick out of... I brought a picture frame and some craft glue. Then I painted the front of the frame with craft glue and slaped it into the sand! Bing bang boom! Sandy beach frame! Perfect for framing your favorite holiday picture!
